SURVIVOR

So this is the fifth picture I've created for this contest. I ended up scrapping the second one because I just wasn't satisfied with how Lara's eyebrows looked (it looked like she had none) and the third picture was also scrapped because, well, I wasn't too sure how it would be recieved since it was the scene where Lara jumps while on the ship. Anyway, last night before I went to bed I had this desire to draw Lara one last time becafore the contest closes. This time I decided to use the asset package picture as my reference (which was hard to do since she's so tiny in that image). I think I totally killed her eyes and the back of her hair...>.< I was going to spray her with blood and dirt, but I wanted to do a clean Lara for this one so I just scrapped the idea.

I was inspired to draw this wolf after watching The Grey. I wanted to do a nice dark grey wolf, but the fur kept getting merged into one giant blob. T.T Since that wasn't working I ended finding a picture online to use as a reference (instead of keeping the movie on pause whenever a wolf came up). I think I made my wolf look more dog-like somehow...Maybe I should have made the snout longer? O.o

Anywho, the wolf was drawn way before the contest began and last night before I went to bed I had a brilliant idea. And so this is my final try.
